This letter is being written in regards To Able Drain and Blair Mitchell as I feel people who do exceptional and professional work need to be recognized.

I have used Able Drain for many years utilizing all of there skills in drainage situations, water mains and septic issues. I own and have owned and own many residential and commercial properties over the years and have tested the vast skills of Able drain many times on all sorts of property types and have never been let down. I am serious when I say “I have never been let down”.

The job sites have always been left turn key and everything returned to its original state and many times better after the repair and installation was complete. This includes cement work, pavers, lawns and the most difficult being retaining walls that needed to be removed to access problems. I had an incident several years ago I would like to share where massive rains in Port Moody had overwhelmed my storm sewers in my personal residence and built up so much pressure under my house it cracked the conceptual concrete wall mid section of my home leaking huge amounts of water into my lower level of the home and suite. I contacted Able Drain at 5am and Blair along with two of his guys were there within an hour knowing the situation I was in and wanting to help. This was probably the busiest day that Able Drain had seen in years but they prioritized the severity of all his calls and showed up immediately.

Within an hour, they had removed the cabinets within the suite (the cracked wall was behind) punched a temporary sump in my floor and installed a pump to remove the water pouring in minimizing all damage. This fast action was recognized by my insurance company and they waived my deductible (never heard of that before). Able drain was then able to move onto other emergencies and return after the water had stopped coming in and make a very difficult repair of digging down in a 4ft wide pathway at the front of the house more than 8ft down protecting a retaining wall that was now undermined and upgrading the drainage system to eliminate this problem forever.

When the job was complete you would never know that these guys were there. The pathway of 35ft was completely restored and all garden beds where they had to excavate all the removed soil to was completely put back together and the entire jobsite was washed down and cleaned up of all debris and mud. This is only one example of the work and challenges I have asked these guys to do.

I do not recommend a lot of people but Able Drain is one I do recommend faithfully to friends and relatives and I have never had a negative comment back.
